2018 P&C Pledge - Voluntary Contribution

March 2018

Dear WPPS families and carers,

Wouldn’t you agree that one of the biggest highlights in 2017 was the completion of Phase 1 of the playground re-development?  Our new lawn area is one of the most used spaces at WPPS for recess and lunchtime games and fun, before and after school activities, and for outdoor learning experiences and lessons.

The exciting news is that Phase 2 is just around the corner! Plans are underway to re-develop another section of our playground to make it a more useable and modern space for our students and teachers to enjoy every day.

In the lead up to this next phase we are encouraging all families to make their annual voluntary contribution as these funds will help to make this worthwhile project happen.

What is the Pledge?

The Pledge is the P&C’s commitment to raising finances to be re-invested back into our school. Our goal in 2018 is to raise $15,000.

Why is the Pledge so important?

We are a government school with minimal fees. We rely on additional financial support, such as the Pledge, to make extra projects like this happen. Every single student will benefit.

How much is the contribution?

We are encouraging all families to contribute $100.00 (per family) for the school year. That’s only $25.00 per term, or 50 cents per day. More, or less, is always welcome. Every dollar counts.

How do you pay?

Payment will be via the school fee process, paid directly to the school. You will see a line item on your Term 1 Schedule of Fees for the voluntary contribution of $100.00 per family.

If you have any questions please email admin@wppspnc.com.au

Keep an eye out for updates!

Updates on Phase 2 will be shared with the school community in the WPPS newsletter and on the P&C Facebook page in the coming weeks and months.

Thank you for your continued support of the WPPS community!
