In 2018, West Pymble Public School P&C aim to raise $30,000 from these events and initiatives:
Cake Stall (April)
Grandparents Day (April)
Trivia Night (June)
Spring Showcase (Sept)
Election Day Sausage Sizzle (Sept - TBC)
Movie afternoon (Term 4)
Voluntary Family Contribution - Pledge (all year)
Voluntary Family Pledge
Each year, parents are encouraged to contribute towards the Voluntary Pledge for the school. This donation is 100% tax deductible and is a significant part of our total fundraising goal.
Easy ways to help with fundraising
There are many opportunities for you to help West Pymble Public School.
A few easy ways include...
Volunteering at cupcake stalls or sausage sizzles - who doesn't love a cake or snag!
Volunteering to assist with P&C events (in the planning or on the day)
Baking (or buying & pretending you baked them...it's ok, we do it too!) cakes or bikkies to sell at the cupcake stalls
Donating preloved uniforms to the Second Hand Uniform stall
Attending the fantastic social events and fundraising events - and bringing your friends too!
Pay the Voluntary Pledge (we recommend an amount each year but more or less will always be happily accepted!)
If you would like to volunteer for any fundraising activity at school, please contact a member of the P&C or your class parent. Be sure to follow the Facebook page as we post any requests for support here.
Held in Term 1, this is a great way to meet other parents and carers as well as our teachers.
In term 1 2018 we held a Cake Stall at Philip Mall as on of our fundraising initiatives which was very successful.
We make sure voting for a state election is fun & tasty, with the fabulous WPPS Sausage Sizzle!
In 2015, we started a fabulous tradition of a Wishing Tree, so that we could raise money to buy specific items for the classrooms, as requested by the teachers.
Not a fundraiser but a lovely send off for your Year 6-ers and their families.
Trivia night - themed of course - is a lot of fun! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year.
Kids love Dads in the Can day (dads love it too!).
