The Fancy Dress Theme

The theme for this year’s Trivia Night is 80s Movies & Music!

This is your chance to channel your inner Madonna, Ferris Bueller, Ghostbuster, Marty McFly, or even E.T.! From power suits and perms to leather jackets and leg warmers — anything goes.

Prizes will be awarded for:

• Best Dressed Woman

• Best Dressed Man

• Best Dressed Couple

• Best Dressed Table

So bring your A-game and make it a night to remember!

GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING

​

Travel to and from the event
The Apollo Avenue and Tristania Place gates will be open on the evening to access the school. We encourage everyone to walk to and from the event where possible. If you’re driving, please be considerate of neighbours and avoid parking in their driveways. Taxis/Ubers are a great option — and let you fully enjoy the night!

Arrival
Doors open at 6:00 pm, and the welcome speech is at 6:15pm pm. Please arrive on time to find your table. A seating chart with table numbers and guest names will be available in the COLA area before entering the hall.

​

Food & Drinks
This is a BYO event for both food and drinks. Feel free to bring your own platters, order delivery to the school (address: 10 Apollo Avenue, West Pymble), or coordinate as a table.

​

Clean-Up & Recycling
Each table is responsible for clearing their own space at the end of the night. We suggest bringing a cardboard box or container to collect rubbish and recyclables under your table. Garbage bags and school recycling bins will be available.

​

Noise & Neighbour Consideration
Please remain inside the hall and COLA during the event to minimise noise. At the end of the evening, be mindful of neighbours when leaving so we can continue hosting these events in the future.

TRIVIA & ENTERTAINMENT

​Time to sharpen those general knowledge skills—don’t worry, it’s not all 1980s questions (but maybe brush up on a few, just in case).

Trivia will once again be hosted by the legendary Jason Montgomery. Pens and answer sheets will be provided, but bringing your own pen never hurts!

RAFFLE

The Trivia Night Raffle will close at 10:30 pm on the night. Tickets are available online, and you don’t need to attend Trivia Night to win. Winners will be announced on our Facebook page and contacted directly on Monday, 27 October.  Purchase tickets here.

SILENT AUCTIONS VIA GALABID

Bid on incredible prizes, hampers, and experiences through our online Galabid auction. Silent auction items will be displayed in the COLA on the night and will close at 10:00 pm. Winners will be notified automatically, and payment is handled via Galabid.

For physical items and hampers, we will arrange delivery or pick-up after the event. Browse auction items here.

Our live auctions will feature very special prizes, including the amazing WPPS Class Artworks – stunning “A World of Wonder” themed artworks from each class.​

PHOTOS & SOCIAL MEDIA

​By attending Trivia Night, you agree that photos or video taken during the event may be used by the WPPS P&C for promotional purposes (including social media, newsletters, and future event marketing). If you have concerns, please notify the organisers prior to the event.
