WEST PYMBLE PUBLIC SCHOOL
COLOUR FEST 2026
Friday 27th March
Join us after school on Friday 27 March for a colourful afternoon on the school oval.
It’s more than a run — it’s a colourful mini festival full of energy and community spirit. Think of it as a fun run where the fun matters far more than the running!
Casually walk or jog a short course with friends while volunteers toss bright coloured powder over you along the way. By the finish line everyone is laughing, a little messy, and covered head-to-toe in colour.

CLOTHING
We recommend wearing white clothing to get the best effect from the colour powder — it shows up brilliantly and makes for great photos.
Please note that the powder may stain clothing, so avoid wearing anything you want to keep clean. Protective eyewear such as sunglasses or goggles is strongly recommended.
You can purchase white T-shirts and sunglasses with your tickets, or simply bring your own on the day.
SUPERVISION
This is a family event.
All children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
This is not a drop-off event.

WAVES AND AGE GROUPINGS
Participants will run in staggered waves to help keep the course safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Each wave will complete a full lap of the Colour Fest course.
Wave groupings and the number of waves will be determined by the organisers based on registration numbers, age groups, inclusivity needs and safety considerations.
We aim to make the event welcoming and inclusive for all participants. A dedicated lap will be available for people with disabilities or anyone who prefers to walk the course at a slower pace.
The first wave will begin at 3:50pm.
Where time and safety allow, participants may have the opportunity to complete an optional second lap.
ENTRY
Registered names will be checked against the event list on arrival. You will not receive a formal ticket.
Access via Tristania Gate and Diana Gate.
Apollo Gate will not be in use.
